Holiness Is a Doorway to Intimacy with God by John Bevere

John first explores recent statistics, which indicate that many people in America are no longer praying faithfully, with many departing from the faith. John explains this is because many people are not experiencing the Presence of God.

People have lost their joy and strength because they have not experienced the Presence of God, due to a lack of Holiness.

John explains the difference between positional holiness and behavioral holiness.

He shares these relevant Scriptures that tie together holiness and the Presence of God.

Hebrews 12:14 (NKJV) "Pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord:"

John 14:21 (AMP) "The person who has My commandments and keeps them is the one who [really] loves Me; and whoever [really] loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and reveal Myself to him [I will make Myself real to him].”

He concludes the message by sharing the importance of the Holy Fear of the Lord and how we can live in that reality.

Our prayer for you is that you would walk in behavioral holiness, the passionate pursuit of a lifestyle that pleases the Lord, so that you can live in the Presence and revelation of the Lord every day, in Jesus' Name, Amen.

Breaking the Fear of Man and Embracing the Fear of God by Bill Johnson

Video Description: Bill Johnson talks about the importance of breaking the fear of man and embracing the fear of God. The fear of man undermines the fear of God, and the two cannot coexist. If we want to be effective in this world as followers of Christ, we must be willing to break the power of the fear of man in our lives. The fear of man often masquerades as wisdom in wanting to seek the counsel of others, but it will always lead us in the opposite direction of what the Holy Spirit is saying, distorting our perception. When facing disappointment, loss, or betrayal, we must follow Jesus’ example of getting alone with God. Only He truly knows how to heal the hurt in our heart and restore us. When we allow God to heal our heart, on the other side of the challenge is great fruit. It is important to have wise friends and accountability, but most important is prioritizing the Presence of God and hearing Him for ourselves. We cannot afford to live under the influence of the fear of man.

Relevant Scripture: "Fearing any human being is a trap, but confiding in the LORD keeps anyone safe." -Proverbs 29:25 (ISV)

Our Prayer for you is that you will prayerfully consider any areas of your life where fear of man has crept in, and then submit that weakness to the Lord, replacing it with confidence in the Lord and fear of the Lord only. As a result, it will bring the healing presence of Jesus to ourselves and those around us. In unlocking this Christ-like quality and discipline, you will more fully live your Godly Destiny, Amen.
