Video Description: "Priscilla Shirer shares a powerful message on 1 Kings 18 about embracing God’s calling and fulfilling the roles to which we've been divinely appointed. With the enemy advancing so clearly against us, we must stand firm and stay faithful in the positions where God has strategically placed us."
Priscilla encourages us not to "drop the ball" on our watch of faith; we are called to make a deliberate difference for God's purpose and plans wherever we go. She elaborates on the story of Obadiah from I Kings 18. God's purposes come straight to Obadiah as he is working his job. He feared the Lord and served people practically, even at great risk to himself at times.
Priscilla wonders, are we faithful at our jobs? You don't have to be in a leadership position or in an official ministry position to make a difference and be used by God, as we faithfully do whatever our job is unto the Lord. People are strategically placed by God in all careers and walks of life to make a difference in this world for the Kingdom of God.
We must not feel that the assignment we have is not significant enough. As students, parents, and neighbors, we all play a part where we are placed to serve faithfully and impact the world for Christ.
Being excellent at our craft builds credibility and rapport with the people in our sphere of influence. Don't drop the ball on your watch!

Our Prayer For You is that your eyes will be opened to the opportunities around you for the Kingdom of God, in whatever your station in life is, that you will be diligent and excellent at your work, and that you will honor God even in the midst of the ungodly culture that we live in. In Jesus' Name, Amen
