This video lays out a great understanding of the Declaration of Independence.  This is something every American citizen should be aware of and must be shared with future generations.  The 4th of July holiday is a ritual designed to gather us with friends and family in remembrance of the what and why of our nation's independence. 

Do yourself a favor and take a few minutes this July 4th to consider these higher principles and ideals.  Also, ask the Lord if you have a role to play in America's preservation and restoration as a God fearing nation-  for those with such a Godly destiny are desperately needed.

Should the Christians abdicate their role and/or should a nation reject this truth then only tyranny and totalitarian control are left.  Are you destined to bring the love of God into the public arena?  Are you called to secure the blessing of liberty?  As a Christian, become engaged in the policy debates of your nation and be the salt and light you are called to be.  Your nation desperately needs you.
