As Christians, we believe that God is all powerful and sovereign. We also believe that Jesus has been given all authority in Heaven and on Earth. We often hear people say, "God is in control." Have you stopped to examine what the difference may be between authority and control? Scripture teaches us how God chooses to exercise His authority on Earth. One way is through us- as Jesus sent us into the world to make disciples of the nations, so that His will may be done through our obedience to Him.
Our purpose could be of greater significance than we imagined, because He seeks to love and bless the world through each of us. Consider these points as you listen to Steve Thompson, who suggests that your role may be critical.
